Tárcoles
Tárcoles is a famous fishing village where you can buy fresh fish daily; red snappers are a specialty in the area; almost all restaurants offer it, and there are several communities with splendid houses, some with stunning sea views. Gulf of Nicoya and the Guanacaste peninsula, just 15 minutes from Jaco, the leading tourist destination in the area.
Playa Agujas
Playa Agujas is a small paradise, very natural and hidden; however only 10 minutes from a supermarket and other shops, here there are two beaches, Agujas and Playa Bochinche, the perfect place for your daily meditation. In the Gulf of Nicoya, the waters are calm and temperate all year round, it is ideal for kayaking or other sports…. worth exploring.
punta leona
Punta Leona is famous for its white sand beaches, the result of coral in the area; it is a public beach, like all in Costa Rica, and access to the club is restricted for members, which many national and foreign residents take advantage of. The Pictures say it all; who doesn’t want to spend at least one day here? Put it on your list to visit.
Nativa Resort

Jaco Beach
Jaco Beach is the most visited destination in the Central Pacific, in its 25 years of development, it has become the favorite beach destination to enjoy gastronomy, surfing, and sunsets. It is 100% touristy, and its main street offers an entertaining place to recreate with souvenir shops and the beach atmosphere; just one hour from San José and the international airport is a preferential destination.

Herradura is only 10 minutes away from Jaco Beach, and this is the perfect area to visit for a sunset drink and enjoy an ATV and Canopy tour; Herradura has a large gastronomic variety to offer, Great Italian, Japanese, and local restaurants with international dishes.
hermosa beach
Hermosa Beach is internationally famous for its excellent waves for surfing. It has been the scene of top-level international events. It is a few minutes from Jaco and offers a good number of restaurants facing the sea, and it is a relaxed and excellent destination to enjoy sunset warm evenings.
esterillos
Esterillos is a miles-long beach subdivided and three areas, West, Center, and East. It feels very relaxing and natural, the beach is great to enjoy and to surf, it is breezy and always warm. Palm trees provide excellent shade, so spending a whole day at the beach is delightful. Check it out!
Bejuco Beach
Bejuco Beach is 20 minutes south of Jaco Beach, the main town in the area.Bejuco has been growing in the last few years, and it is becoming a cute, lovely neighborhood with a shopping center, restaurants, bakery, and supermarket; the beach is beautiful and very long, perfect for walks and sunsets. The tropical breeze is always a delight in this area.
